Humanitarian Competencies Project (HCP) is an international project dedicated to building the capacity of World Vision staff. It currently works in partnership with National Offices and Regional Teams across Asia and Africa to facilitate a competency-based approach to learning and development. This includes access to vocational qualifications through the University of Melbourne in Australia.

HCP commenced in 2002 and is funded by World Vision’s Humanitarian and Emergency Affairs (HEA).
